  • Who can attend React Summit Remote Edition for free?

    • React Summit Conference (September 11) tickets holders
    • Combo (React Summit + workshop) tickets holders
  • If I have 1 of the above mentioned tickets, do I need to do anything to claim the ticket for React Summit Remote Edition?

    No, you will get an email with logistics details before the conference.

  • If I don’t have a React Summit Conference or Combo ticket, how can I participate in the React Summit Remote Edition?

    In order to participate in the remote edition of React Summit you should buy a ticket here.

  • Is it possible to watch the live stream for free?

    Yes, but you won’t be able to participate in all networking activities.

  • What does free (no ticket) access include?

    • Live Stream of 2 tracks: React & React Native
    • Managed Q&A sessions after each talk
    • Access to talks recordings 1 month after the event
  • What does a ticket to React Summit Remote Edition include?

Actions with tickets

  • Can you issue an invoice for my order?

    Yes, it is possible to pay via invoice. Please, send your company details to [email protected] and we will issue it for you:

    • company name
    • company address
    • VAT number.

    As soon as we receive the payment, we'll send you a promo-code to activate the tickets.

  • How can I change the name in my ticket?

    You can easily change the name in the ticket in your Eventbrite account. Just log in and edit the attendee information. Pay attention that only the ticket buyer can re-assign tickets.

  • If I can’t attend the conference, can I give the ticket to my friend/colleague?

    Yes, you can. Simply log in to your Eventbrite account and re-assign the ticket to this person. Pay attention that only a ticket buyer can re-assign tickets.

  • Do you provide refunds of remote conference tickets and workshop tickets if decided not to participate?

    No, we do not provide refunds in this case due to our policies.

Program

  • Where can I find the full schedule?

    The full schedule will be published a few weeks before the event on the website but you can find some speakers on the website already.

  • What is the timing of the conference?

    The Remote conference will run on April 17 from 3pm CET, until around 7pm (core part) and a virtual after-party after.

  • Where can I find all logistics and organisational information on how to connect, what the exact schedule is, etc.?

    You will get an email with all the information you’ll need at the conference about 2-3 days before the event.

    Please note, the email will contain access code to the conference activities.

  • What are the Managed Q&A sessions after each talk?

    It’s a 10-15 minutes session right after each talk when MC picks questions from the audience and asks them to the speaker.

  • How can I ask questions to the speakers during Managed Q&A?

    All the questions can be asked via Slack channels. The links to the Slack will be shared in organisational email 2-3 days before the event.

  • What are the Speakers zoom rooms?

    It’s a virtual discussion room with a speaker that will be open after each managed Q&A session. The link will be placed in the schedule.

  • How to communicate with other participants?

    The main slack channels (one per tack – React and React Native) will be created – the links to the channels will be sent in organizational email before the conference.

    And there will be Networking zoom rooms for discussions of different topics, attendees can also create separate watch parties with their colleagues and watch the conference together.

  • What are the Networking zoom rooms focusing on multiple tech topics?

    During the day there will be a number of discussion rooms where participants can chat, share experience and knowledge on multiple tech topics. Each room will be active during the whole conference from 3pm to 7pm.

  • What is 1:1 Advice Lounge?

    It’s a virtual meeting with experts whom you can ask questions about your projects. Registration with the list of available experts and their schedule will be open in advance, and you will be able to book a slot for discussion with any expert.

    The details will be placed on the website.

  • What after-party will include?

    There will be numerous afterparty rooms with different hosts and activities from chat rooms to Quake tournament.

  • Where to find the links to zoom rooms, slack channels?

    All the links will be placed on the streaming website. To enter a zoom room or any other activity, you’ll have to put your access code from the organisational email.

Technical questions

  • How to install Zoom?

    You can use the web version of the program, install zoom on a computer or mobile phone (App Store, Google Play).

    You can enter Zoom by using your Google account, Facebook or Zoom account (if you have already registered with this program). If you do not have a Zoom account, click Register to create one.

  • What to do if the stream, zoom rooms don’t work?

    Please contact us via [email protected] or in Slack channel.

Workshops

  • Will my workshop ticket be valid for September workshops?

    No, the workshop tickets to the April workshops don’t cover the September workshop program. Please note, the workshop in April will be held remotely.

  • Where can I find all the prerequisites I need for a workshop?

    3-4 days before the workshop you’ll get an email with all the instructions: how to connect to the remote workshop, what to install in advance, what the schedule is, etc.

  • I bought a ticket to a workshop, but have another date in my ticket. What is the correct date?

    Please, be attentive with the dates!

    The correct date is indicated in the name of the ticket – example: “Advanced React Workshop (April 15)”.

    The ticket will also state the main date and time of the online conference – April 17, although you might not have bought a ticket to the conference itself – this is how Eventbrite works, and we cannot change it, unfortunately. Pay attention to what the name of the workshop says.

Discounts, diversity scholarship, etc.

  • Do you have any discount for students?

    There are no discounts for students.

  • Do you provide any group discounts?

    No, we do not provide any group discounts.

  • Can I participate in React Summit Remote Edition if I have a diversity ticket?

    Yes, you can participate in the conference on April 17 (remote edition) and on September 11 (offline edition).

  • Will the talk recordings be available after the conference?

    The recordings will be available for tickets holders right after the conference and in a month after the event for the whole community on Youtube channel.
